This charming village is located 76 kilometres from Fortaleza, and like most of the villages on this coastline, Taiba lives from fishing and tourism. It is a well-known destination for water sports enthusiasts as it hosts many surfing championships. The waves are beautiful and constant on the beach of "Taibinha", the central point of the beach. A little further away, there is a lagoon, ideal for swimming and for kite surfers because the water is flat and the wind is present every day. There, it is easy to practice freestyle or start practicing without having to overcome the difficulties of entering the waves. You can also enjoy the amazing landscapes on horseback or in a buggy. Or, who knows, come and discover the gastronomic festival dedicated to the snail in August!
