Taiba today

“Taibinha” is the central point of the beach, where the rough sea attracts surfers and lovers of long walks. 5 kilometers from the center is the lagoon, ideal for swimming and for kite surfers as there are no waves and the wind is constant, so you can practice freestyle or learn kitesurfing without having to overcome the difficulties of entering the waves. Taiba is a destination known to water sports enthusiasts with many surfing championships occurring there. Another well-known event is the Snail Food Festival which has taken place every year since 1998, usually in August.
