Visiting Marbella is a must in Andalusia! It is a treasure trove of architecture, gastronomy and festivals especially the Virgen Del Carmen one on July 16th! The sun is very strong in the summer, but fortunately there are plenty of beaches and green areas to refresh visitors. The Alameda Park is particularly beautiful, as are the urban paths that cross the city. Walking through the old town in the evening to taste tapas and the best sangria in the Plaza de los Naranjos is a very pleasant option, as is discovering the Paseo Maritimo which runs along the beaches to Puerto Banus and its magnificent port, or spending some time on the beautiful beach of Cabopino, which is wilder and more intimate than the others, with its dunes which plunge into the Mediterranean. Pure charm!
